British Hairdressing Awards

Well, it's off to the British Hairdressing Awards for us this weekend! We'll find out on Monday if we have won. Fingers crossed! We'll finally be able to reveal our collection when we get back.

British Hairdressing Awards Finalist

Yay! We have received word that Michael is a one of only 6 finalists in the Northern Ireland category of the British Hairdressing Awards, which take place on 24 November in London. The organisers of the event have been hush hush about how many others Michael competed against to get his nomination, but stated, "There were a record number of entries this year." Competition rules forbid us from revealing our photos just yet, but we promise to post them as soon as the awards are over.

Irish Hairdressing Newcomer of the Year

We're proud to announce that our very own improver, Chris Patterson, has won "Best Newcomer of the Year" at this year's Irish Hairdressing Awards. Chris beat out hundreds of competitors to win this coveted title. Congrats, Chris!

Michael on NI Wags

Michael Quinn Hairdressing was recently featured in the BBC documentary, NI Wags. Lauren Hood, girlfriend of celebrity Irish rugby player, Stephen Ferris was filmed in our salon, demonstrating her "Retail Hairapy" hair extensions line, available exclusively in our salon. Be sure to check out this month's edition of U Magazine, an Irish Fashion Magazine available at newsagents now. They have featured Michael Quinn Hairdressing in their "Best Tressed, our Top Salon Guide" section.

Website Updates

At long last our website has been updated! While we intend to tweak here and there to add a bit more personality, our new design is a lot more user friendly. You can now request appointments with our easy to use booking form, as well find out what is going on with the team in our salon.
